FC BARCELONA 2-2 MANCHESTER UNITED - PLAYER RATING
An exciting evening between the Giants ends in a Draw, As Rashford & Lewandowski fight out for an even Steven....
Barcelona Player Rating - (4-3-3)
1. Ter Stegen (7)- One of the Best players for Barcelona tonight. Made 3 crucial saves which would have put his team behind. Although should have done much better for Rashford's Goal, as it went past his near post.
2. Kounde (6) - Had a decent outing until the Own Goal which he could do very little about. Kept Sancho quite most part of the game.
3. Araujo (5.5) - Had torrid time against the pace of United attackers & kept making basic mistakes. Although improved late on in the game.
4. Marcos Alonso (7) - Scored the opening Goal of the match. Very sound at defending and didn't do much wrong. Replaced by Christensen.
5. Jordi Alba (3) - The worst Barcelona player on the pitch. Constantly out of position and got caught out. Added almost nothing going forward, as his final ball was horrid at times.
6. De Jong (6.5) - Not one his best games in Barca shirt but kept getting into pockets to keep the ball moving. Struggled against Casemiro's constant hounding.
7. Pedri (5.5) - Tried to get the game going & started well but was subbed of at 40th minute mark due to injury.
8. Kessie (6) - Did his job as expected.
9. Gavi (6) - A bright spark throught. His skills were quite the sight but lacked anything productive most of the game.
10. Raphina (7) - One of the best players on show tonight. His dribbling & crossing was threat throughout. Scored a wonder goal which was meant to be a cross.
11. Lewandowski (6) - Keeping in mind his high standards he didn't perform as expected. Should have taken a few half chances but seems like not scoring at Camp Nou for the last 5 games weighed heavily on him.
Manchester United Player Rating - (4-2-31)
1. De Gea (5.5) - Made quite a few mistakes, for which he should have paid. Wasn't his best performance tonight.
2. Aaron Wan - Bisska (5.5) - Was rash at times & kept giving away too much space on his side. Improved slightly, late on.
3. Varane (7) - Was one of Manchester's best players, as he kept Lewandowski quite for almost entirety of the game.
4. Shaw (6.5) - Didn't do much wrong. Was putting in tough tackles & made sure to keep Barca at bay.
5. Malacia (5.5) - Had trouble stopping Raphina at times & provided little going forward.
6. Fred (6.5) - Had a fairly decent match. Was rash at times but was always involved in the right ends of the pitch when required.
7. Casemiro (7.5) - Was United's best players along with Rashford. Won the Midfield battle countless times against Barca's talent players and was a threat going forward. Was at fault for giving the ball away for the second Barcelona Goal.
8. Bruno (6.5) - Seemed to be linking the midfield & attack well and was involved in almost everything productive going Forward.
9. Sancho (5.5) - Had a night to forget. Just couldn't get involved and produce something and squandered a glorious chance early on.
10. Rashford ((8) - Was Absolutely electrifying and made the Barca defense suffer with his runs behind the defense & his clever play & wonderful skills. Scored an absolute stunner of a Goal from a tight angle.
11. Weghourst (5) - Anonymous for most of the match, providing very little threat attacking wise.
Good Ratings, although a bit biased to Manu.
